Lamborghini Aventador Roadster is a Topless Monster

Sexier than its coupe sibling, the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster was just unveiled today to confirm what most had already guessed.

Passengers will be able to enjoy the Italian exotic with sunshine on their shoulders courtesy of two removable hardtop pieces which weight about 13 lbs each and stow in the front luggage compartment. If what the company says is true, the car will also run from 0-62 mph in three seconds and reach a top speed of 217 mph.

Of course, driving with the top down means more than just extra fun. The engineers at Lamborghini also modified the b pillar to engage an automatic protection system during a rollover crash and to support the removable top.

This car is simply not for the faint of heart, and is breathtaking in person ( Aventador).
