[Poll For Fun] Lincoln Performance Line

Hello everyone. Just for fun after looking back at the thread I started going over the history of the Lincoln Performance History (which you can find here: http://www.fordinsidenews.com/forums...rmance-History ) I thought it would be fun to throw some ideas for a name for Lincoln's Performance line. I think it has been pretty well documented that Red Label might get the line but I thought of some things that might make it fun.

Cadillac has V, Lexus has F, BMW has M

Lincoln could use K?

OR a 2 letter designation?

The Mark VII and VIII had the LSC trim for the ultimate performance model and the LS had the LSE. LSC is Luxury Sport Coupe I believe and LSE was Limited Special Edition... so perhaps LS_ ?

Or just stick with Red Label.

Let's keep the discussion civil.

I selected other as I don't really care for any of the options. On the other hand I don't really know of anything better!

But I do know I don't like the idea of various labels. I think they should have left it at Black Label, let that be unique to the lineup.

I would like to see the name EcoForce on the engine

=======================

Every sub-$50,000 car on the market will have to answer to the Ford from now on, no matter what badge it brings to the table.

Ecoboost was a great stroke of marketing genius! Ford wasn't the first to build these types of engines, but they're the only ones who've managed to take ownership of the desing in the public eye!

As for EcoForce, they'll never do better than their intended TwinForce for the 3.5EB!!

^

Thanks for your opinion,

mine is that EcoForce is better, even when I suggested it in an intercompany suggestion poll a decade ago.

Re: [Poll For Fun] Lincoln Performance Line

I stuck with the "Red Label" designation, assumed to be the forthcoming performance variants. At the same time, though, if a coupe happens...working "LSC" into a top-line model of it wouldn't hurt my feelings.

But EcoForce sounds like the name of a group of liberal climate super dweebs dressed in tights and a cape!!

TwinForce on the other hand brings to mind the Madsen twins dressed only in a cape!!

^I like TwinForce.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For the time being, Red Label is pretty unique....... K would be derivative, IMHO.
