I wonder how many guys with Continentals will run them at the drag strip? I only got in one run before a thunderstorm shut us all down. I launched it really easy with the plan of getting more aggressive with it in later runs. Unfortunately the rain spoiled my plan. I ran a 13.56 which is decent for being 100% stock and really humid air. I think with a brake boost launch and better air, it would run 13.3 stock. I am still waiting on Livernois to develop a tune for it.

Trap speed was 102.8 MPH. There was a 20+ MPH headwind and I think that hurt the trap speed. I was expecting a bit better. The launch is really important, too. I was very gentle with it - basically started from a fast idle instead of brake boosting to 2000 RPM like I used to do my MKS.
Livernois already has a tune for the MKZ with the 3.0T, being that it's the same engine and transmission shouldn't that work?
Stage 1 Tune: 387WHP/418WTQ
Livernois says no. The ECUs are different. Livernois needs a Continental in their shop for about a week to develop a tune that they feel is safe and effective. I am on the phone with them almost weekly. Supposedly, they have one lined up and are trying to get it scheduled.
