2015 Dodge Challenger Comes In Eight Trim Levels, None Of Them Supercharged

Dodge has finally taken the covers off its 2015 Challenger, but the model we’re most interested in, the high-performance SRT, is nowhere to be seen. Hopefully we’ll see it soon, as it’s the one that’s expected to get Chrysler’s new supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V-8 dubbed the Hellcat. We’re sure of this because previous SRT powerplants like the 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 are now offered in the regular Challenger.

This car has not aged well. It was great when first released but the nostalgic aspect has long since passed.

No way, man-it still looks good. It's a big ol' bruiser with a massively improved interior. Not a true Camaro/Mustang fighter but I think it'll do just ine until Mopar can get a new ponycar out.

The tail lights are a tad bit different, as is the front grille. The interior is all-new too.

I think they recognize that the retro look is what people wanted, so as soon as they change it, they have something like the Charger/dart styling.

=======================

Every sub-$50,000 car on the market will have to answer to the Ford from now on, no matter what badge it brings to the table.

People who want one in most cases already do. There isn't an never ending line of people looking for yesterdays style. At some point they're going to have to try to move the nameplate into the 21st century or they'll have to drop the name and start from scratch entirely.

Can't say I agree with this.
Could we not say same about anything?
I grew up a GM fan, and my neighbor was a cool guy who restored a Boss 302, and I became a Mustang fan from that day forward. So from about 14 years old, I longed for one, eventually buying a Boss myself, selling it, and owned 2 more mustangs after that. You get the bug with these cars, and it's hard to shake it. You long for them in fact. All of my sons friend love my cuda, and they all long for having a challenger one day.
