Buick had a really suspicious January last year, they were going to be down no matter what,
but Cadillac was weak last year, due to December 2015 pull aheads,
looks like they did it even more this year...

...Regarding the Detroit automakers, Ford Motor Co. and General Motors Co. on Wednesday reported slight declines in January U.S. sales of 0.6 percent and 3.8 percent, respectively, while Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV experienced an 11.1 percent decline.
All of Fiat Chrysler’s mainstream brands aside from Ram Truck (up 5.5 percent) declined in January compared to the same month a year ago: Chrysler down 39 percent; Dodge down 17 percent; and Fiat and Jeep both dropping less than 10 percent. Its luxury Alfa Romeo brand was up 59 percent to 108 cars sold, including 70 of the all-new Giulia midsize sedans.
The Italian-American automaker sold 152,218 cars and trucks last month compared to 171,352 a year ago. The sales beat analyst expectations of the company being down as much as 15.3 percent...

Jaguar Land Rover sales for both brands hit 9,102 units, a 30 percent increase from 7,007 units in January 2016...

Yeah, I've looked before, but always seemed to get just the paragraph that highlights what they want to highlight, but nothing else. I wish they would start reporting the numbers like everyone else. It's hard to keep track of their progress the way they report things.
