I agree, and it appears that the Chinese automakers have no shame as far as plagiarism is concerned.

Re: Spy Shots: facelifted Jiangling Yusheng SUV is Naked in China

i think its about time we get rid of ip laws and all. why cant ford make the corvette and gm make a tundra? inorder to save resources and time and to have common safety to all platforms i call upon a bidding system that does this:

1. each auto company will bid to the united states department of transportation a single platform that will cover multiple catagories of uses.. that being small to large size passenger autos and cross overs... basically none traditional body on frame trucks and suvs...
a. this new platform will be bid to the govt as to save time on safety and recycling and other time consuming issues.
b. the govt will chose based upon which product platform has the best in safety, recycling, environmental cleanness, and other related issues.

then each auto maker will be licensed to build that same auto. this will allow for more competition while also having the most safe autos on the road as each auto may only be used for upto 200k miles or 4 years. This will also insure the roads are always safe and it will also be a jobs bill as more people will be needed to produce the autos...

Potluck plagiarism. I see some Subaru, Toyota, and Honda in there.
