Don't you think delaying the launch of the Ranger for the rest of the world (its most important markets which includes Asia-Pacific), is like saying Ford will delay the new Fiesta's launch in Europe?
Things to remember, the Ranger is one of the models responsible for Ford's growth in Asia-Pacific and I believe several other markets. In these markets the Ranger is Ford's only pickup, it's basically what the F150 is to the US market (where mid-size pickups have a much smaller market share). Ford Australia is the one developing the US-spec Ranger.
imho, "ABB Robotics" has got to be where that codename comes from for the China-Taurus(aka D568C) ... no?
