Fiesta ST pricing revealed at Chicago

This is from a post at GMI. It seemed worth sharing with those that may be in the market for a Fiesta ST and haven't seen any official pricing info online.

...MEANWHILE at the Ford booth, they have BOTH a Fiesta ST (197 hp 1.6T) starting in the very low $20K range and a Focus ST (252 hp 2.0T) for $24K. So don't sweat it GM, Ford's got that niche covered for ya!...

Any thoughts on low $20K, good, bad or indifferent?

Wondering what they have changed to make the car for a cheaper price?

Based on a price I received from a dealer today the markup for the Fiesta ST is about half of that for a Focus ST and the Fiesta ST has more equipment in the base version. Plus, the Fiesta is a bit smaller and the labor costs in Mexico are lower.

Honestly although I find the Focus ST to be quite slothful I would spend the extra money for it.

I'll take the Fiesta ST with Sirius and save a few thousand dollars. Plus I like the Fiesta dash better than the Focus. From what I've read about the Focus, I expect the Fiesta to be more nimble, smaller turning radius. Just my $.02 worth.
