7 passenger Ford Edge

Here's a chop I did of a lengthened Edge, allowing it to fit 7 passengers. Now, it may not be logical to create one of these, with both Flex and the upcoming Explorer replacement, but I made one anyways.

Not much is changed, except I added some length in the rear door area as well as the cargo area, and I moved the b-pillar back slightly.

Re: 7 passenger Ford Edge

I like the idea and your chop, Rmc

thing I wondered is if the Edge's longer wheelbase could produce a lighter-than-FS/TauruX 7 pass Cuv
but
then I used Milan cues to finish it ('course )

It may be difficult to tell, but I did extend the D pillar some. All pillars except the A pillar were moved in some form. I added some length in the rear door between the B and C pillars (thus moving the C pillar back), I moved the B pillar back slightly and added length the the cargo (C-D pillar area) area.

To allow for adequate 3rd row leg room, both the first and second rows could remain where they are currently, leaving all the extra room created by lengthening the vehicle to the 3rd row.
