I was just wondering what is everyone's favorite Full-Size Car. :)

Well since I am the proud owner one and love it so much I would have to say the Grand Marquis! ;)

Town Car without a dout.

I always look forward to being able to use my company's car service when returning from a trip. The backseat is the best! Especially after a long cramped flight.

Taurus of course, What else would it be?

For me it's the MKS.
Wonderful looking interior (especially with 2b2's rendering :D), distinctive exterior styling and (hopefully) the availability of an EcoBoost V-6 with AWD will sure make it a sweet ride and put Lincoln right back into the luxury market again.

This is a complex question imho
esp. cuz the cars listed range in size from
215.4" ovl for the 'short' wlb TC
to
196.8" ovl for the Chrysler 300

that's a 18.6" difference, more than comparing
the Fusion (190.4" ovl)
to
the Neon (174.4" ovl)
+
imho the very idea of 'fullsize car' is changing
and my bet is the Milan-size* could be the new definition.

&

since I prefer small cars, need to apply some picky rules to decide
- like only considering cars that are in production
- represent the mfgs' best efforts
- and give a ranking rather than a single pick
so
1 Mercury Sable (meant to vote, HELP?!?)
2 Ford Taurus (obviously the Sable's cheaper rebadge can't win)
3 Buick Lucerne (might make #2 with an Awd option, doesn't have one does it?)
the rest don't even make my list.

usual-disclaimer: I have a major philosophical conflict with either-or and 'best' judgements

pre-edit: WAAAH, I clicked the wrong choice (still have DST-jetlag)
postposting-edit: tho if the GM(& M) got the changes I listed Here (http://www.fomoconews.com/forums/showthread.php?p=11985#post11985), it'd be a tossup
&
another-edit:
NDW, why is it I saw who voted for what before I voted?
but after voting, I don't :(
just checked - it's only with Firefox, IE shows the Who/What

The Buick Lucerne does not offer an AWD option.

The Grand Marquis and Town Car do not make you list of favorite Full-Size Cars?

TY re:Lucerne, Mr.SABLE - didn't think so, but it's easy for me to make mistakes when it comes to GM(GeneralMotors)

re: our GM and the TC... NOPE!
imho, no matter how good they are, they are emphatically not 'best efforts' by Fomoco, hence disqualified (per my pickiness)
same applies to the current NA-Focus & Ranger
Not saying they don't get-the-job-done - just that Fomoco needs to learn that 'cruise-control' is NOT a business philosophy.
(think I'm grouchy today - apologies)

You are quite welcome 2b2.

And you're right about the Grand Marquis, Town Car, NA-Focus and Ranger. I also agree with you about "cruise control" is not a business philosophy.

That's quite alright everyone has their days.

For me, its a tie between Lucerne and Taurus, due to my GM royalty, but, if I was actually spending money, Taurus makes most sense, its great value and AWD is probably an option you can get for as much as a loaded Avalon

300. Got horsepower and RWD. All I want.

The GM and Town Car look MUCH better, but they lack in the engine dept.

I would have to say the Mercury Grand Maruqis. I had 4 of them in the past. I don't have one now. I may seriously consider one for my next car. They are quiet and smooth ride and roomy. What I miss now is the trunk size. I now have an '03 Taurus and a '97 Thunderbird. A couple years ago, I had to go to a babys r us to buy a baby car seat. I had to use a bungy cord because the truck lid was not big enough. With a G.M., I could almost fit two in it. I will miss it if Ford drops the Mercs.

I now own an '07 DTS (in 2006, Cadillac finally got this FWD platform right after struggling with it since 1985). I am planning to look at the new MKS and hopefully the Town Car (if Ford updates it). Last Ford product I had was a 1983 Valentino Edition Continental.

just for the record, in a matter of weeks my vote changes >> MKS
any chance we could cancel April due to lack of interest?
