PickupTrucks.com: Rumors That Ford Is Thinking Smaller With New F-100 Pickup (http://www.pickuptrucks.com/html/2011/ford/f100/rumors/is-ford-thinking-smaller-with-a-new-f-100-pickup-based-on-f-150.html)

"...a 'baby' F-Series pickup may be about to join Ford's best selling truck family. On and offline sources are whispering that the all new Ford F-100 mid-size hauler will arrive by 2011, slotted below the F-150 half-ton...

...The F-100 badge hasn't been used on a Ford pickup since 1983, but with fuel prices continuing to rise, and Ford hurting for a modern mid-size truck, it can't arrive soon enough."

I don't care for the rendering. Can't wait for the F-100 though!

I like the shape of its 'flanks' - very clean
& the front has ExplorerAmerica and Focus(bumper) themes - both of which I like

I love the idea of Ford bringing back the F-100 as a midsize and maybe even the Ranger as a true compact truck. With a low weight, competitive engine choices and FE these two could be just what Ford needs to kick start truck sales again.

F-100 & the Ranger..."could be just what Ford needs to kick start truck sales again."

Completely Agree, B.R.
with all those people that never really needed the F-150 or bigger
now looking to reduce gas costs, both of the smaller trucks are needed ASAP

F-50 is a better name, although Ferrari might have a fit. Mabye F:050, as in Zero Fifty.
