Since the Town Car may be around till the new RWD platform, I thought a refresh of the current one might carry it over. I started with a early 90s TC, chopped in the MRT front end, redid the roof/windows to give it more of a Lehman-Peterson Limo look.

Good work, tim!!

I like it, but unfortunately, I don't see Ford investing any money into the Panther program anytime soon.

total agreement^^!!!^^
still hoping for the mystery-makeover so the Panthers' last 2-3-4-? years aren't a disgrace

think maybe I like your styling too much, Tim - looks very classy - wondering if a interim-look* could work and save yours for the GlobalRwdPlatform?

most interesting feature imho is the smooth/flush fender-to-HL-to-bumper surface - think something along those lines could start a whole new trend!

* think I'd be happy with an overhang-ectomy and more modern proportions as long as they do the parts-bin drivetrain upgrades...
and a 're-finished' interior'

Something a bit more conservative with a bit of Bentley
(and GT Hawk even ;-)

I really like the ultra-fine grille slats, Tim!!! http://www.fomoconews.com/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif

any idea how you'll incorporate the Star?

may I suggest something along the lines of the 2nd in this ooooold .gif (http://www.fomoconews.com/forums/showthread.php?p=12302#post12302)? maybe running the horizontal 'ray' into the bottom of your HL's?

Good work Timm, you are getting to the Mr. Burns level.
Meanwhile, I like the above one best. It takes from the 1990's towncar and adds the new.

I believe the 1990's town car was right up there with the S Classes of the day.

I see Bentley in the hips with the uptick in the sheetmetal, but the roofline/greenhouse makes me think of a Rolls-Royce Phantom, which actually wouldn't be that bad of an idea....it could essentially be the a cheaper Bentley/Rolls-Royce-looking thing (better so than Chrysler's 300).

That's not too bad, I like it, although I personally would put a larger Lincoln star on there.

That's pretty good. Something about the headlight area makes me think of the new Camaro though.

It's pretty tall and flat...the aero #s would be awful.

Are you referring to the picture that was posted?

If so, remind's me of Lutz' comments on the Volt concept's aero testing.
