This caught my eye on Jalopnik...

Notice the HHR in the back? Thats a different face. Interesting since just a month ago, GM said it was dead.

Killing the HHR would be the wrong move for Chevy. It sells very well to privateers, and is a nice little package. What they need for it is an interior upgrade. Its one vehicle I could see myself buying from GM.
My Friend Mbuku has one and its been very good to him, 70,000 miles and not a single problem. Its quite, cruises nicely on the road and its pretty peppy and will easily cruise at over 35 MPG at 65 MPH. Not bad for a little wagon with almost as much space a CR-V

Great find! I agree with ndwariga, I think it would be a mistake for GM to just kill the HHR. Give it a tweaked front and rear end, a new interior, and offer the 2.4 DI and 2.0 T and I think the HHR will fly off the shelves..

I believe that's an old vehicle. Someone grafted a SSR front clip onto the HHR and it looked sweet.

I was at the event last night. That was a SEMA HHR from a few years ago. The designers agreed, it looks better than the production HHR.

Question is why they would bring a SEMA HHR to the show if it was about to die...?

Because they need to sell every last one of them. They usually bring these things to the auto shows.
