Showcased in another forum, I thought I would include it here.
Just off the top of my head, here are some of the exciting performance or high tech models from Ford for 2012.
(note that Fusion pic is just a concept rendering, but looks close, although actual is much better)

Now that is what I call a sexy lineup.
Does any one single brand come close?
Remember just a few years ago when Ford had little more than Mustang and got beat up for it.
Not so anymore.
Ford has been pumping iron, baby!!!

One day soon I hope to see something similar from Lincoln.

AFAIK, Expy gets powertrain updates (which will correct the only weakness) and style freshening, with much improved interior.
I am pretty sure late 2012.

Have you heard diff?

We had an article I think a month or 2 back stating the Navigator was supposed to get the 5.0 and EcoBoost but then Ford came out and said that at this time there will be no changes for the 2012 model year. Perhaps it is different for the Expy? If so that hurts my head.

Do you have the years correct, as a lot of products rolling out in the spring or later will be MY2013.

Do you know if the Navigator will be included in the update?

The Taurus looks so much better with the new grill. SWEET car looking even better now. I love the pic of that Raptor you posted also.

If it is not out there already about the Navi, I don't want to say anything.

Flex and Taurus SHO look better everytime I see them. The standard Taurus grill is not shown here, but it looks great too.
The Fiesta and Focus ST models are hot, and I hope some of the styling trickles down like it did with the Mustang models. maybe the Focus Platinum could getr a grill like the C-max.
Exlporer and Edge still look fresh, and even more optional grill designs would be good.
The Escape just doesn't do it for me.
Raptor looks hard core, and the regular F-150 will be getting a grill closer to the Super Duty when it is refreshed. I saw pics, and it looks much better.

When is the full redesigned Expedition due? 2017?

I think I rememebr reading that the Expy and Navi always debuted a year before the updated Super Duty. So a good guess would be to see when the next Super Duty is supposed to come out and subtract one year.

Things always change though. 2018 is the F-Series 70th anniversary. 2017 is the Expedition's 20th anniversary along with 2018 for the Navigator's. The 2014 refresh should keep it going for 3 and 4 years.

Most the ford vehicles have given its best performance, and has gained better market in the auto industry. Is there any new car to be launched in 2013 ?

I just finished reading "Once Upon A Car" by Bill Vlasic which is an extremely well researched and put together recollection of the darkest days of the US auto industry and then I see these pictures in this post and feel so good and confident about the future of Ford and the American auto industry in general. The heart and soul of US auto today is Ford which has not only gained strength under the inspired tutelage of Allan Mulally but also has managed to secure survival beyond Mulally's departure which an executive team which is all in the same page and completely on board with Mulally's vision and plan.

I highly recommend Vlasic's book to anyone interested in the details of what transpired during those days but the overall picture of what happened is really not changed, at least not for me, although I am sure that many of our peers over at GMI must be burning copies in their fireplaces. The book contains validation of much of what was discussed here and mostly over at GMI and there is a particularly telling recount of the infamous proposal by GM of a Ford-Gm merger which for obvious reasons I can't reproduce here but than thankfully the New York Times reproduced . . . HERE (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/10/02/business/once-upon-a-car-on-the-road-to-detroits-big-pileup.html?pagewanted=all)

There is another paragraph which again I can copy here but oh well I am sure all of you have read it before . . . in any case you can read it again here (http://jalopnik.com/bill-vlasic/).

Good Job Ford!

There's a 2013 F-150 in camo running around. A quick refresh before replacement is a good thing. The competition has been doing it now Ford is doing vice talking. All good news.
