The same stering wheel, sync screen, and radio-air conditioned controls as in the Explorer, Taurus and others recent Fords

I think it is worth noting, I think this is the regular V6 and not the EcoBoost since it has the SST on the shifter itself as opposed to having paddle shifters unless they do both now

This model looks to have a red "eject right passenger" button on top of the instrement panel.....LOL Looks very James Bond-ish which isn't a bad thing.

Very close to the interior of my '11 Explorer. The enclosed compartment for the 12VDC jack, USB, SD card, RCA, etc. is different but otherwise almost spot on. I seriously considered the bigger '11 Flex over the Explorer but I liked the Explorer's styling better and I wanted the more powerful 3.5L and MyFord.

I wonder why Ford opted to use a steering wheel design that more or less resembles the one on the sub-compact B-segment Fiesta instead of a steering wheel design that's closer to the one used in the Focus for their larger cars?

For me, the steering wheel of the 2012 Focus seems a bit more upmarket looking.

Another nice steering wheel design is the one on the current Euro Mondeo.

The lower set of buttons with gaps in between makes the steering wheel used by larger USDM Fords look a bit cluttered...

I personally prefer the Edge steering, the 3 spoke design is perfect for me.

The wheel in the Flex shot is the Edge wheel. Makes sense seeing as they're both at OAC.

I also like the 3 spoke design, but I was talking about the styling details not the number of spokes. The lower set of buttons with gaps betwen them (six black squares/rectangles) are not as well integrated as the buttons on the euro Mondeo's steering wheel. In other words they look a bit like an afterthought.

Current 3 spoke steering wheel used by new mid-size to large USDM Fords.

A chop I made applying the look of the euro Mondeo's steering wheel (with neat flush buttons) to the 3-spoke design.
