I remember those. The following year was the first of the Taurus-based models, I believe.

Those beasts were yet another use of the Fox platform. Ford squeezed every penny and use out of those bones...just like with the Panther.

Yep, but you could tell from the side, front, and back that it was a Lincoln.

The rear is more of a work of art. Look at the angles? It's like something you would find on a show car and not a production car.

Rear is very bustle back like the Cadillac Seville

The Seville was also a very nice design in 2-tone paint. The days when car design was free to do whatever they wanted and actually built them.
