A 2013 Lexus brochure has been leaked showing images of the RX crossover’s mid-cycle updates – including a big surprise.

The popular luxury crossover receives a new corporate spindle grill facelift, revised headlamps and taillights, and new wheels. Images of the interior also reveal a rear-seat entertainment system.

While the facelifts was expected, Lexus has also taken a leaf from the German premium crossover offerings; the 2013 RX will also receive a new F Sport trim package.

Is that a sport hybrid? It has RX450h which is the hybrid model but it also says F Sport?

A couple of thoughts here on this. First of all, as this seems to be a Japanese market brochure, it isn't certain that we'll get it here, though it is likely. The other thought is: Why?!? The Lexus RX has been and just about always will be a large obstacle in my getting from point A to point B in a temporally efficient manner. To observe these vehicles on the road, you'd be hard pressed to think that it had more horsepower than a riding mower, or more roadholding ability than if the tires were treaded with fresh banana peel. Admittedly, that describes, in my eyes, anything that approaches or exceeds the proportions of being as tall as it is wide, but these cars have often taken the cake in one slow, annoying move. Why bother to give these people anything resembling more acceleration or handling when they wouldn't have a clue what to do with it with the assistance of the owners manual and a six hour training session? This, BTW, coming from a former Prius owner...

Does anyone like the "train wreck" or "pre-dented" front end from Lexus? I don't care how much performance or luxury Lexus offers. With a front-end like that, the deal is off. Will not consider any Lexus with that horrid front-end. What were the designers thinking...........or (words censored here due to the nature of the content) to come up with that look?
