I love the C-Max commercials. They are cute and to the point, plus, unlike most car commercials (Chevy dealership ones especially), they are not annoying at all.

Lincoln would be ahead of last year if you take the Town Car out of the YTD totals for both years and act as if Town Car did not exist. But they can't do that unfortunately.

Great news about the C-Max sales!
Could the Grand C-Max be sold here in Lincoln design?

THIS is the BEST information of the month. This is a great achievment for Ford: the C-Max have an objetive: figth the Prius V, and it did it! Now, Ford, why not introduce in USA the 7 seat Grand C-Max, more in line with the americans tastes? In hybrid an electric models, only, like the C-Max , and start to build an Hybrid and electric only sub-brand, like the Toyotaś Prius?

I'm starting to look at Lincoln as FLincMoCo's *hobby**
not something they expect to make any money with ...yet

if they actually wanted a BUSINESS, they would've kept the other half that sold over 500,000 not that long ago

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

** really getting the feeling that FLincMoCo's efforts with Lincoln has been a lot like HERDING CATS
    - the 1st MKX & contemporary Navi wander off in a 60'sConti direction (stylewise)
    - they sorta corral the X but not the Navigator who's hiding under a sofa OR should be
    - the Zephyr/Z chases a string in circles until next month/year
    - the MKT is asleep in a corner ... I think it's asleep - never really has moved
    - the briefly glamorous MKS hasn't gotten the grooming a showcat needs
    - & our new kitten, the MKuGa, isn't due for another full year

    hmmm, maybe I am grouchy

I was wondering the same thing but I'm also wondering whether incentives or more recent fleet sales (since the MKT is the new spiritual successor to the Town Car) have played a role in the uptick of sales for both vehicles.

The recent storms could become a mixed blessing for Ford. I read somewhere recently maybe on this site that the take rate for the Explorer is pretty high in the state of NY. So this could translate to an uptick in sales for Ford when Newyorkers begin to shop for replacements to the vehicles that were ravaged by Hurricane Sandy.

The MKS needs to be completly redesign two years ago! This car is selling so slowly, that Lincoln must think in stop sell it rigth now. If the new MK Z fail, Lincoln will not survive
