Left Lane News and Brenda Priddy & Co. have captured Nissan's Seventh Generation Maxima out on winter testing ahead of its coming debut at the March New York Auto Show.
Not a huge amount of information has been leaked, except for the prospects of a Renault-Nissan sourced Diesel that will come stateside in 2011 and the possibility of a Toyota-Developed Hybrid version arriving by 2010. Otherwise, the new design is still up in the air, but I expect certain elements from the design shown on the 2009 Murano to work their way down to the Maxima and future Nissans.
Here are the latest shots and the few details available from my friends at Left Lane News.com.

Spy photographers have caught the first ever images of the redesigned Nissan Maxima, a month ahead of it’s New York Auto Show introduction. With sales expected to begin this fall, the seventh-generation will be badged as a 2009 model.
A Renault-Nissan diesel powerplant is expected to follow the initial engine offerings, arriving in a couple years as a 2011 model. In addition to the diesel motor, a Toyota-developed hybrid system may also be offered – and we’re expecting this as early as the 2010 model year!
Watch for the uncloaked version to debut next month!
