    1. have you heard
about the new "Nano" v6's? The original 2.7 liter has been joined recently by a rumored 2.9
& that gen2 EB's can make upto 140hp per liter?
Imho whichever Lincoln gets, the EB would be appropriate for EVERY model...and more so than a 3.5/3.7 for the smaller ones
    2. do I have it right that the Navigator will have 3 wheelbases? Imho that'd be great if they could do it.
    3. I'd like to know more about your TownCar. It *is* the only sedan between the MKZ and your Continental sizewise, right? &
    4. a truck-based Continental?!? &
    5. your Mark IX is almost the exact length of the MKZ but on a shorter wlb. I wonder about that.
    6. Cartier but no Bespoke?

Agree! I'm looking thru other Lux mfgs' e-brochures
    & think (avoiding fancy names):
    dark brown
    light 'brown'
    reddish
blackish (sorta like the MKC's shown here)

and maybe a pale 'blond' or honey/coppery-gold

    &
for the metals would like to include:
    regular smooth aluminum
    sparkly, maybe textured aluminum
    a deeper-toned "titanium"
    plus
    'piano black' of course
(can't make up my mind about carbonfiber)

    very late edit (insomnia)
made a comparo of pricing...soooo similar imho
    1. I know about the new Nanos/2nd gen EB, but I want to see how they perform before I include them in my lineup. At this point I believe the Duratecs are much better than the current Ebs we have.
    2. Yes, that's correct
    3. Yes, it's the only sedan between the MKZ and Continental. I don't think there would be room for a smaller one.
    4. I thought for a while about that, but I guess you could say the Navigator is based off of the Continental to make it sound better :)
    5. Thinking about it, the wheelbase should probably be 110 inches, it would allow for a somewhat useable rear seat
    6. It would be to appeal to the older customers, more in name really. It would be just an option package with different wheels, plusher leather, different paint options etc.

I like your ideas for the metals, I don't like carbon fiber myself, but people seem to go crazy over it.

I love walnut, Andrew, my fave along with Teak
tho still pondering if the finish might be more important than the base wood
    &
what do you think of the MKC's "manufactured" wood&silver trim?

wanted to mention, I like that your LincStang "reaches high" (like including competitors too - which I never have patience or confidence to do; but) I include the 6-series as a major TARGET (always thought the 6er looks like a Mustang-clone anyway!)

& rather surprised both you, & TaurusSHO keep the MKT
I *really* want it GONE and it's resources split into the LTC.TownCar.TouringCar and...the Aviator/Navigator

which I too *had* hoped would be based on a GlobalRWDplatform Territory, companion to the Falcon-initiated GRWDP Continental
(that^s ranted for just a bit earlier in the Mission)

I get the feeling you're leaning towards Lincoln being as much EcoBoost as possible, as I am too!
    &
Wingsnut hinted that Lincoln will get a good number of exclusive engines or versions-of-engines...
    ...lots to wonder about!!

I wouldn't be surprised if we will see some sort of "engine-surprise" on the MKC. It really seems that they really want to get things going with that vehicle so I'd say they might have to offer a special/new engine.

Oh, BTW, have I told you that I have now officially abandoned the idea of getting the new MKZ? As it stands today, the MKC is my new favorite and the timing should be just right. And my mother (who will be the #1 Lincoln-driver) prefers the MKC over the MKZ. She prefers sitting a bit higher..

But that's just a side-note and a lot can and will happen over the next 21 months. If - for example - the MKC is priced outrageously high, the MKZ will be back in the game.

It is bad enough that MyFord became the so unoriginal MyLincoln, but to keep the Ecoboost name on the Lincoln versions just drives home the fact that you can get the same thing at Ford.

    just-imho
if it's the same thing, use the same name**
if it's similar or modified = depends*
if it's truly diff THEN get a new name - like...
...if Lincoln-Mercury vehicles ALL got some various degrees of electric augmentation

    btw/speaking of ^which
I've been fleshing out my 2020 Mercury lineup with features & pricing & colors...

** tho imho it's LAME to include the Brand name = MLT & MFT
    * think if it's different enough that I might want to get the dealer to switch to the other for me, then it's diff enuf for a diff name ... don't see flowers over leaves doing that

I'm just not getting any originality vibes from this. Remember, a lot of Lincoln buyers have Fords in their family as well.
Chrysler went even one step further with the Plymouth Neon and Dodge Neon.
