I would like to see Lincoln offer some sort of sporting 2 door but the likely hood of that happening is very slim.

I really wonder if they could do a 2 door version of the new MKZ

I don't think a 2-door off the MKZ sedan would be so difficult to do. The smooth coupe like profile is already there so all you would need to do make it 2-doors. Unless they make the roof more formal looking for better rear seating or do like Cadillac did with the CTS and make it not look like a 2-door of the 4-door CTS. I guess these alternatives could work depending on what the designer feels will look better.
