Our spy photographers have caught Ford testing its Fiesta-based crossover before. This time, however, the air is a bit thinner and the camo-clad vehicle is sitting up a little bit higher. The vehicle that appears to be the future Ford Fiesta CUV was spotted chugging into the Monster's den that is Pike's Peak.

    granted I'm not a Suv-SUVlet-guy
& probably not really a Cuv-CUVlet-guy (with the exceptions of the 1st gen & current Sportages)
    but
I'm getting pretty bored with Ford's styling Explorer-on-down (still think Flex is cool)

This is the next EcoSport, the southAmerican made mini-SUV based on the old Fiesta platform. It will go to USA??? Is a very small vehicle.... here the current model:

No, is not the same thing. The B-Max is the European Fusion replacement, a mini-minivan, The EcoSport is a CUV, very "truckish" designed and produced in Brasil. Maybe Ford want to make both vehicles global.

also a rear quarter pic at LINK

The next big trend in autos is subcompact-sized crossover vehicles. We've already seen the first batch trickle in - Nissan's Juke, Mitsubishi's RVR - and we're about to see a whole lot more hit the market soon. Chevy is expected to launch a Sonic-based crossover, while Ford will jump on the bandwagon with this, a Fiesta-based crossover. The car will likely bear the name EcoSport when it debuts.

We've already shown preliminary spy shots of the car in previous galleries, but now we have more information. Styling will remain closely in line with the Fiesta (hopefully not including that tacky tailgate spare tire), and the powertrain will be exclusively four-cylinder engines. A turbocharged EcoBoost - perhaps the recently-announced 1.0-litre three-cylinder - is likely to be offered. Ford has seen great success with Fiesta-based SUVs in South America; if it maintains an affordable price point and good fuel economy, we could see this being Ford's next big hit.

The new Fiesta-based (B-segment) CUV (EcoSport) is smaller than the Lancer-based (C-segment) Mitsubishi RVR (aka ASX, Outlander Sport) crossover.
The RVR uses the same 2,670 mm (105.1 in) wheelbase as the longer Outlander.

PS: The RVR is just a bit smaller than a Hyundai Tucson.
