The Ferrari California will be coming to the 2012 Geneva Auto Show with some new upgrades and a new sports handling package known as “Handling Speciale.”

Ferrari has managed to shave 66lbs off of its newest generation of the California by using advanced aluminium construction techniques, which according to the company, maintains all of the structural rigidity and performance as the old way of doing things.

The refresh will also see the California get new exhaust manifolds and engine mapping, giving the GDI V8 which delivers 490 hp with maximum torque of 505 Nm(372 lb. ft) at 5,000 rpm 30 added horses. This more power, less weight design will propel the California from 0-62 MPH in a cool 3. 8 seconds.
