2013 Chevrolet Traverse Debuts Ahead Of NYC Show

Just last week Chevrolet showed a small teaser of the 2013 Traverse crossover. Along with the teaser, Chevrolet announced their newest crossover would debut at next week's New York International Auto Show. Instead of waiting for the show, the bow-tie brand has decided to show the entire Traverse now.

As expected, the 2013 Traverse is sporting a new front fascia and small tweaks to the rear fascia. Side body panels have been left entirely alone. Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the revised exterior is the fact that there is now cross-bar on the grille. The long-time Chevrolet design trait is totally absent on what GM states is Chevy's new crossover design theme. Out back the Traverse has new, larger taillights and a less-awkward looking rear lift gate.

The headlights are hideous. The color you show doesn't show the black/grey that is around the light, to fill the old headlight holes while using a slimmer headlight design. It just reeks of cheap update. You don't even want to spend the money to change any body panels................. really GM??

It looks more cohesive but also more bland at the same time. It also gives off a Honda vibe.

The back looks alot better, and the interior would be a major improvement if not for the awful clashing plastiwood. One would think those trees would be extinct by now.

I don't understand the styling direction. This looks more in line with the old Malibu from 2005.

I've seen a lot of changes with the features. Better vehicle now.

Not bad... a little bland in the front, but in a good VW sorta way.
