I only see thicker door pillars and different rear window glass (oh, and door handles of course).
The slightly different photo angle makes the rear look a little changed, but again, that is likely the camera angle.
The early bird gets the worm..but the second mouse gets the cheese.
Sorry 2b2 I can't help you on this one haha, they look exactly the same minus the door handles and the rear reflector

Not to get off the subject even though I think the difference between concept and production MKZ are minimal....Will a rear wiper be offered? This rear window design calls for a rear wiper system.(or if a rear wiper appears to tacky for Lincoln level how about side or top air jets to blow the water off the rear window?) People will realize this once they drive in the rain or get into a parked MKZ after it has rained and want the rear window clean so they can safely back out of the parking space.

I find it to be just the opposite. All wagons and SUVs with upright around 90% angle back windows need wipers, while slanted ones seem to blow away the water.
The early bird gets the worm..but the second mouse gets the cheese.
The slanted angle helps get water off because of the air current created by the car driving.
MKZ rear is more refined with a built in spoiler for a more streamline rear.

Fusion has a a sporty euro look to the rear.

The fact is the body panels can't be swapped like the out going models Also the side profile is
more pronounced in the mkz overall while the fusion got a more traditional
coupe style.
