This news is exciting! SVO, Biplane rear spoiler??(will they do design this into the rear??) You know.........wasn't the same turbo 4 engine used in the Thunderbird Turbo Coupe? Hint Hint. Now if only Ford could show (not tease us) a concept of a proper 4-5 pass "Bird based on a longer, wider Mustang. (all you would need to do is T-birdize the MKR concept)

I too would love to see the Mustang platform modified to create a larger 5-passenger coupe named Thunderbird, Maverick, Talledega, or Torino, as well as a line of RWD performance vehicles for Lincoln to include a coupe, a convertible, and a sedan.

imho it should be a separate option IF they do it
    &
while not specifically an SVO - found a new donor with some help from Suziebob...
...trying to get a shape distinct from the current Mustang OR the Evos
& trying to get the feeling of a somewhat smaller size across

(not sure what thread I put the other chops in...)

Great job once again 2b2 - I love the headlamp design along with the grill. Are you working on the rear view?

How would this design look without the grille? (slant the front middle section back a bit) The SVO didn't have the regular Mustang grille. The whole look (above) has a somewhat Euro-look with American-flair to it which isn't a bad thing.

Too badthe next Mustang is fastback only. I think it would be better to offer both notchback and fastback designs but that's not going to happen.

kinda/exactly what I was going for, Turbo
if that's along the lines of:
    - a different, more showcar, SHAPE
    with
    - heritage 'graphics' & themes
(Here's the original donor pic btw)
    &
just want to mention some not-exactly planned things (serendipity)
    - the forward sweep sorta above the headlites: parked next to a 40th Anni Mustang today and there it was in the headlite shape :) along with the rising top line of the "C"
    - the lower part of the "C" is pure deliberate Evos tho (imho)
    - I'm still not happy with the fogs (including those below)
    - & the back isn't very good on this one imho...s'ok (scford58, I haven't started a new rear YET)
    - the protruding 'intake' grille opening refers back the original...

    Agree = notchback
disagree = I'm not giving up hope yet...
...I even posted about adding a hatchback for Europe on GMI

I have to wonder if you're right. The 2.5L from GM is putting out way more horsepower. I had hoped Ford would update this engine to make it competitive for the new Escape.
    Buy American!
    Buy Ford!
    So say we all...

2b2, nice work on the SVO-look. I like the design.

got a feeling that, in addition to the power-per-liter boost,
EB is also less costly to produce = bye-bye nat.asp???
