Anybody see a test yet of a 1.6 Ecoboost with AWD? All the ones I have read have been FWD only. Have seen plenty of 2.0L ecoboost AWD tests and have been wondering if the 1.6L will have enough omph to move the heavier AWD model.
I haven't seen a test of the 1.6 EcoBoost with AWD yet, but the 1.6 FWD took 8.9 sec to go 0-60 mph in a recent magazine article, so I would guess it would take about mid 9 seconds for the AWD version.
In another magazine, the 2.0 EcoBoost AWD took 7 seconds flat to go 0-60, and another magazine estimated the 2.0 FWD to be mid to high 6 seconds.

Well I guess the people have spoken with their wallets I knew that with all the cachet that the Escape has in it's name alone it wouldn't take much to picque the interest of the general public despite the major design revamp. Add to that the numerous comfort features and technologies and it's no wonder that Ford has another hit on their hands. I've seen several already in traffic throughout Columbus and I think they really look alot better in person than they do in print.
