Does the windshield have to have this kind of angle? The reason why I ask is the front seat could be moved forward a little to allow for more rear seat leg room if the windshield came out more from the top creating less of an angle and ending in the same area at the base. Have less of an angle but curved for aero so it does not cut into the passenger compartment. Maybe something like the Mark 2 almost but not exactly.

dunno - tho I heard an unenthusiastic report recently
makes me think MxW doesn't have much of a free-hand in countering higher-ups' preconceptions

I thought the MKEscape was going to be Max Wolff's design 100%

This car is taken too much time to come to market.... Why? The Escape/Kuga is ready and the Lincoln is only a rebodied version of this crossover, with the same platform . Why the delay? And a compact crossover is the worst scenario to check the ability of Mr Wolff to do a luxury car! This will be the less Lincoln in a Lincoln history... never this brand had a compact vehicle or small crossover. I want to see a big, luxury flagship ( the MK S replacement?) coming from the hand of Mr Wolff. Then, we can judge...

    Exactly
imho the ONLY excuse for the delay was if the "MKC" was going to be significantly different from the Escape

we'll have to wait for an autoshow to judge the styling
    but
    now
my only hope I guess is that the "MKC" gets hybrid versionS which the Escape doesn't...

    ...AND
that an exterior MCE is quickly approved as MxW builds more clout
