    High beltlines are one of the Lincoln brand more traditional design point. Look at the Continental history and you understand

    I realize that, but it's way too high. It looks like a chopped top.

    Those are just drawings they never are that high

    Drawings usually go to the extreme level of the design. The show car is toned down some and diluted more by the time the production vehicle is ready. The idea is to carry the similar theme all the way from drawing to production but not an exact copy.

    Not always occur that... the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque looks better than anything drawned in a designer table! and looks like a concept car... Thats why this crossover is a big succes

    Ford and Lincoln have been burned before by showing concepts that were very well received, only to introduce a mediocre sampling of the style on a more mundane vehicle
    The early bird gets the worm..but the second mouse gets the cheese.
