It’s not a journey. Every journey ends, but we go on. The world turns and we turn with it. Plans disappear. Dreams take over. Yet wherever I go, there you are. My luck, my fate, my fortune. MERCURY. It's inevitable.

i will not try to read that... will be boring, for sure. Both cars are boring and under expectations for a real flaghip. The MK S must be die, rigth now. And the atractive XTS dont deserve the Cadillac name...

CUE is getting negative reviews from what I have been hearing and reading. I listen to the autoblog podcast and they had an episode a few weeks ago where they just ripped apart the XTS. Said that it drove too much like a Buick and the CUE was very frustrating to use. As cool as these touch sensitive controls are maybe they need more work to be perfected and in the mean time they should go back to regular switches.

The XTS would make a great Buick Park Ave just as the MKS is a great Mercury Sable.

my main quibble about their ranking is that they don't list other cars as large as the MKS or XTS - which would afaik greatly change any Bang4Buck score

thought from reading elsewhere:
I'd *LOVE* to know how the new Z would rate!!

Consumer Reports lambasts Cadillac's new Cue system - "some blog about autos"
By Jeffrey N. Ross

Well the good news (for Ford) is that MyFord Touch may not be the most hated automotive technology around the Consumer Reports water cooler anymore. After getting its hands on a Cadillac ATS and XTS to test out the new Cue infotainment system, CR had some pretty harsh words for the next-gen infotainment system.
In the video below, the reviewer...said that MyFord Touch (a technology that has been slammed by CR since its inception) is easier to navigate than Cue...

A front w.heel drive Lincoln built on a Taurus platform. When has that ever worked? And this is the flagship? Body design, a new "face" for Lincoln wont fix this. They need to quit looking in the rear view mirror, get up the hill, and look far, far ahead

agree, Zan^
it drives me crazy that cars as tall as the Taurus & MKS don't have seats that would adjust enough for even the tallest basketball player
(wonder if retrofitting is possible)

imho it's More than equally OK if the Taurus/MKS couldn't adjust enough to fit a 5'3" woman...
...at least Ford offers OTHER cars she could buy
