Congrats, LincolnFanFl! You should post some pics of it when it arrives and do a mini review.
Just to make sure: That's not my car - Unfortunately, I won't be getting one until MY15. It was just the first time I saw an actual window-sticker.
However, I'll certainly have a look and perhaps a test-drive once the first ones reach my local dealer. It seems they ordered quite a few of them.
Lots of dealers are openly advertising the specifics of models they have on order and are expecting on lots within the next week or two. Just search on Google for 2013 MKZ pages from the last week and lots of dealer advertising on arriving models pops up.
I'm still somewhat amazed that the models may arrive before any major press push, which I think it a good thing. That's unusual for Detroit makers, who have historically criticized for being way out in front on promotion, even years before the models arrive (like the current gen Camaro).
That's true. This was just the first time I've seen an official window-sticker of the new MKZ. I really don't know for sure when they were published for the first time.
Seems that Lincoln is hoping for positive word of mouth from people who have seen and driven this car in person. Not a bad idea considering that the brand has not the best reputation for whatever reason. Some brands can virtually sell everything based on their label - other brands are struggling due to their label. That's the difference between Apple and Lincoln..![]()
