2014 Fiat 500L, 500L Trekking Unveiled Ahead of Debut: 2012 LA Auto Show

Ahead of their 2012 LA Auto Show debut, Fiat has unveiled its 500L Trekking model and showed off its North American 500L model.

The all-new 500L Trekking will make its world premiere at the show, while the 500L will debut in North American form. The 2014 Fiat 500L offers 42 percent more interior space than the compact 500 model, with spacious seating for five. The sedan is powered by a 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine with 160 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque and is available with either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed dual dry clutch transmission.

As for the Trekking model, the Italian automaker outfits the 500L with distinct, rugged looks with a two-tone interior scheme. The front and rear bumpers sport a different design while flared wheel arches and 17-inch wheels gives it a bolder appearance.
