car and driver magazine`s european staff named the Lincoln MK C the worst concept vehicle from detroit autoshow. No surprise here... Car and driver just hate Lincoln.... fuc* you, car and driver!

I attended the Detroit NAIAS this past weekend and the MKC impressed me. Its front end is more successful than the similar application on the MKZ, and the body looks somewhat like the handsome Q5. It'll do well and I look forward to a comparison to the SRX.

Buy American!
Buy Ford!
So say we all...
I think they go into the experience with negativity so they come out of it with negativity...
I entirely agree that the MKC has the nicest looking presentation of this new front-end design scheme. I don't like it on the MKS at all. Otherwise, I may be out of the loop but I thought the MKX compared to the SRX. The MKC seems much smaller.

not trying to justify the C&D-Yurps but
imho
the NAIAS-MKC is neither production NOR true concept
umm
the MKS doesn't have Max's horizontal (ribcage) grille
did you mean MKZ?
&
I'm only going from pix of course but
kinda think the MKC's grille looks too rectangular for the (mostly) curvy sheetmetal
at least in some shots

It’s not a journey. Every journey ends, but we go on. The world turns and we turn with it. Plans disappear. Dreams take over. Yet wherever I go, there you are. My luck, my fate, my fortune. MERCURY. It's inevitable.

transplanting from elsewhere
let's say I have the same 'feeling' - the MKC's shoulders looking unrealistically wide was my very first impression.Originally Posted by BORG

Just hope a unique wheelbase stays part of the package!!
btw
has any show attendee tried to find out what engine is IN the concept?
even tho it doesn't guarantee anything

^yeah-well, I think this is (could well be) different** and that's what I tried to say,
the NAIAS-MKC strikes me like
thinking the production's "skin" will fit better
or, it will make better use of the skin's volume
** thought Mr. Farley's comment just meant the production version would LOOK like the concept
&
frankly think the Z-Concept was shorter than the production Z
