Could be something to be shown at Chicago or NY shows?
It would be nice again to see a modern Cadillac Eldorado and Lincoln Mark battle just like years back.
For Lincoln to have a modern Continental, what's considered "continental" these days? The original Continental was patterned after the european sporty cars. What would be considered similar today? The 4-door coupe that europeans like or what else?
The 6-Series is a nice coupe with plenty of room. Exactly. The CTS Coupe is sized more like a G37 - too small for me, really. I wouldn't mind seeing a Lincoln Continental Four Door Coupe. But there was a Bentley Coupe sized Continental created by an artist that looked really nice.

^ coulda sworn when I looked at the 6-er at last year's autoshow, the rear seat was basically a "parcel shelf"...
will check closely this year - in just over a week
just imho, something between a Panamera and an S-class
(and way better looking than either on the outside)
((haven't seen an XJ in personor might mention that))
&
maybe 2 cars on the same platform leaning towards each of those but both still between them

I feel like some kind of 4-door coupe design with the same done as a modern 4-door convertible. Nobody has the convertible.
It has four doors. Not sure about RWD... You can see the front wheel, does anyone want to see a d-a ratio?
Also a concept drawing, keep that in mind.
The personal luxury coupe doesn't exist in any mainstream brand besides the MB CL. Besides it, you have Rolls and Bentley. Not much.
I don't think Cadillac and Lincoln should go that low for a personal luxury coupe. Chevrolet could definitely do it (at an obviously much lower price), but I don't see the Ford brand as very permissive of a luxury coupe.
Agreed on the Cadillac vs Lincoln battle.
Continental is luxury. The Continental would be an S-Class. If China is the market, a four-door coupe roofline isn't in the picture. It's inherently flawed in interior space.

it's not coming to me...
what's a "d/a ratio"?
I have a strong link with "personal luxury coupe" to cars like the Monte Carlo

I (practically) don't believe 2-doors worth doing
tho
had an idea for a sliding-door sporty car a while back (search Cimba here on FiN)
will have to think about a highend/Lincoln 'coupé' and what that could be . . .
