I dont know if the solution is that Ford doesn´t offer the features that Lincoln have, everybody allways says that the features they can find in lincolns they find it on fords
Maybe Lincoln needs some new features (head up display, night vission assist, etc)

I thought it was a reasonable review and what I would expect at this point. Still absolutely love this car's look and that's the interior I'm waiting to see in real life. Dark with aluminum inset. VERY nice, looks MUCH more expensive than the (cheap looking) Dune tan.

The Fusion/MKZ feature overlap IS a problem, but seriously, what mainstream luxury car features does the MKZ lack? HUD and night assist are about the only 2 things I can think of. Seat massagers... Um... Hum...

It's not so much that the MKZ lacks anything as much as the Fusion Titanium is really super outfitted for its class. In a world where the new MB CLA will sell between 29K and 45K and one can imagine a Ford Fiesta or Focus soon outfitted with almost all the MKZ's kit, what defines luxury? It'll be design, performance, materials, service, and brand. Lincoln will need to up the materials and performance aspect, and they're already working on the rest...

I agree...Lincoln needs to really think outside the box on the interior. Right now, if you order the hazel interior, you still get black seatbacks, door material and dash, along with light dune A, B and C pillars. Lincoln needs to not only think material quality, but also how it is presented.

These reviewers in the USA must all live on the same vine.What a bunch of childish rubbish coming out of the mouths of these kids.
Does Honda not offer 21st century features in the USA Accord?
What about the Altima , Camry, Passat etc.
Or is it just more fun to mock Lincoln, or are they saying Ford should go back to selling the settled for brand because they were the "cheap" choice.
When these immature reviewers start blabbing the same nonsense - why buy an Audi A4 when you can get a cheaper Passat with the same features then I will consider maybe these kids are making a valid case that Americans don't want mainstream cars with lots of features offered.

I'm picturing a Z with the Nano 2.7/2.9EB, std tires that are halfway to the summer performance ones that let the curent Z out-slalom the M5...
...thinking a hundred pounds less weight and at least 50 more HP than the 3.7's Z-tune plus the EB's flat torque curve...

I asked a rep at an auto show about this today (see a different post) and they confirmed "late availability" of, to quote the rep, "something on the seat somewhere that massages something." He followed that up with a line I'd drop from now on, which was, "The Taurus has them. You can check them out there." My question is: Can you get heating, cooling, and massage in the same seat?

So, seriously, what mainstream luxury feature does the MKZ lack? Just heads up, as far as I can see...

The production values were impressive. I at first thought they were recycling Ford PR videos, but when the driver's finger expressed frustration at pressing the "button" on the console, I realized that wasn't the case :).

In my brief viewing of KBB reviews, they tend to be pretty harsh, so I think the MKZ getting a respectful "good" is a very positive thing. They used to positively savage Saabs in their reviews, and my recollection was that they had one of the more brutal reviews of 2011 last-ever generation 9-5, so, again, be happy the MKZ escaped with some compliments.
