I actually wanted a black Cougar but I couldn't find one even after visiting all of Lincoln Mercury dealer's I know of in my state so I picked out this yellow one because the dealer had two Cougars and it was either the yellow one with a V6 or a white one with a I4. But couldn't be happier with it, it's been a great car .

The 1999-2001 Cougar is a fantastic car that deserved a better fate. It is based on the world class CDW27 architecture of the Mondeo/Contour Mystique/Jaguar X-Type and had the best road manners you could find in a FWD car in those days. I am sure this Cougar has served you well.

How long have you had it for?

A little over a year and a half. When I bought it, it had only 48,000 miles on it.

Congratulations and enjoy it. The Cougar is a little secret diamond in the pre-owned car market. And the 2001 is the best looking of them all.

You've got yourself a great lookin' little car. My little bro. had an '00 Cougar V6 and he absolutely loved it but for some reason he traded it in for a '06 Mazda 3.

Owner had new interior installed. Car has been sitting outside for over 2 years. Car has leaked over the years and that is th reason carpet looks the way it does. The reason the vin plates are missing is because someone put them on another Cougar that had no title. It is a parts car only. Find a better 68 for parts. You will have a hard time. If you own a Cougar you need a parts car because they were nothing but junk then and still are.
