...yawn. You know how many times my ICE car left outside has frozen shut in the cold? All the **** time. ****, I've had the lock freeze and lock me out on multiple occasions, and it barely touches the single digits here maybe a couple times a winter. That's why god invented garages.

Re: "Teslas are .... "

It's Official...

It just took 3 months, YTD Tesla at 27k with NA sales alone is outselling full line brands like Porsche, Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover and now Lincoln (24,975). The Qtr 1 should be over 70k units globally.

This is with Model 3 Standard Range ramping up production, and before the launch of the Y or Semi or Roadster.

On the Ford side, sales are down -12,649 units blamed on 'weak car sales', meaning that those looking for cars did not take the 'image upgrade' to pay thousands more for an SUV or a discontinued Ford car.

It's official. You love Tesla and post every positive spin on the brand no matter what.

I'm interested to see if their momentum lasts once the credit expires.

Happy to see the EV competition flood the market with options in the near term, while Tesla chokes on continued sales declines.

Cue the anti-anti-Tesla fanboys.

On a related note, the Audi E-Tron only got 204 mile range.

Very poor range for the Audi e-Tron. But that's the outcome when you build an ICE body and retrofit it on an EV platform using a large 95kWh battery pack. The Germans still have a lot of adjustments to make when building EVs, and it's not just a retrofit from what they already know and do well. Everything changes. German automakers were known for engines, transmissions, switchgear and cars that felt and sounded like vaults. The value of all goes away with EVs and powerful quiet electric motors with 1 gear and touchscreens and voice control with the safest, stronger lightweight body.

While the proud American company Tesla, offers a 100kWh battery pack in a large sedan at 335 miles outselling the German's 4 to 1, or a large SUV at 295 miles, faster, handles better, more tech. Doing what everyone said can't be done.

Now that's American Innovation at it's best......and what American could be against that?
