Re: Ford Explorer Platinum

In my hardcore fourwheeling days, the majority of trail running, pretty much anything can go on. Yes, you may get a scrape here or there, but nothing big. The true hardcore wheeling?? The vast majority of vehicles will never see, and could never survive.

We used to really get a kick out of the Hummer club, and the like, that would go on a hardcore trail and basically pave it to get everyone through. This "paving" would include all of the bypasses for the hard obstacles. Then the clubs like ours would have to go over it, and un"pave" it. These silly people would then brag to everyone how they went over __________ hardcore trail. We would all just laugh.

Re: Ford Explorer Platinum/Planetarium

I remember doing this in High School, very memorable and certainly changes your perspective on the scale of the universe.

Re: Ford Explorer Platinum

Not impressed with the front end redesign. It looks nothing like any current Ford themes. The grille and headlamps look like something from 2007.
