just saw an employee posting elsewhere about the size of the Production Conti:
"Trust me, it's plenty long enough "

The idea is to generate attention and energy around a car's design which they wouldn't be able to do based on the production car alone. Lincoln has been successful with this formula so far and expect it to continue.
The most recent Lincoln sedan to go that route was the Zephyr, that didn't end well. Lincoln needs a damned home run, not a bunch more doubles.

It does not matter if Conti will be nearly identical to concept, as some will claim it is not close enough. A subjective matter this is.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts I'm hoping Lincoln decides to bring the Continental Concept out here to the San Francisco International Auto Show in two weeks so I can finally see it in person as I'm sure even the best pictures don't do it justice.

I wish FoMoCo would let people know far enuf in advance to change their schedules and make travel arrangements

One would think they're unaware how important seeing a Major-milestone/legend-in-the-making
with our own eyes is to (some of) us
