Re: Lincoln Navigator Concept

@nruggiero , I fully expect NO increase of BASE price
can someone say how much the BASE F-150 went up? off top-o-head?

I'm predicting a new victor in the Trophy Wife Shuttle Wars.
Yup, that sums up the market quite concisely.

Re: Lincoln Navigator Concept

The more I look at it the more I'm liking it. Yes it does have the Range Rover like rear shape, but thats about the only way to prevent it from looking like a block of wood. Plus I personally think the production Continental looks much better than the concept and this will likely be the same. Also expecting more than the 400hp stated, either that or a helluva lot of torque.

In all I'm let down by the exterior design but I am certain the New Navi will take Lincoln to new heights both in prestige, quality, tech and price range all because of the new Navi, I'm just not sold on the exterior design of the concept and it's so over the top and outlandish that I can't really gauge what to think of the production version. With the Conti concept I could tell what would could or probably not make it to production, but with the Gator concept, only maybe 20% seems logical
20%?? How?

The only thing that won't make it are the doors and extremely large wheels. Everything else will look pretty much as you see there, with the typical concept-to-production transitions like a larger lower grille, different headlight detailing, etc.

Current Vehicles:
2009 Ford Flex Limited w/ AWD
Light Ice Blue/White Suede Roof | Med. Lt. Stone Interior | Vista Roof
2018 Ford Mustang GT Convertible
Lightning Blue | Black Top | Black Interior

Re: Lincoln Navigator Concept

So I attended the reveal today and I do like what I saw. The Navigator Concept is a bit over the top but it has a nice presence and the crowd seemed to really like it! Its supposed to go to Live with Kelly and Michael tomorrow (set your DVR's!) so it might not be back at the show for press day #2, but will be back by Friday I was told.

BTW...they announced ALL new Continental owners will be offered drop off and pickup service...nice!

Sooooo, just to be clear,
you think it is fair to price this radically upgraded, all new aluminum Navigator, sporting cutting edge tech, class leading suspension and twin turbo GTDI engine backed by a ten speed....for about $14K less than the Cadillac, which uses pushrod engines and a truck axle.

And you justify all that.....because you don't think you like it.

Did I hear that right

What you can ask and what you can get aren't always related. Unfortunately for Lincoln at this point in time Cadillac can ask, and get more for their products than Lincoln can for theirs, regardless of which is better.
