Curious to see how this will affect Lincoln since he was the one who came up with the current design scheme.
Bentley came up with the current design scheme.

Oh man that would be hilarious! What a blast it would be watching those over at GMI embracing what was previously the worst designer in history!

Re: David Woodhouse resigns

I looked briefly internally to read about it, and came up empty. I even asked around and nobody seemed to know. Or care. Hmmmm

Yeah, for one there is actual traffic there, and two, it's fun watching the XT6 vs Aviator meltdown! It doesn't matter, Chevy fan or Ford fan, they all seem to make the same excuses when their brand comes up short!

I mean I know Ford isnt in the best spot right now but I feel Nissan is way more volatile with the Renault and FCA stuff going on.

So then, it was a boatload of cash and a move to one of the best cities on earth, San Diego! I'm a Ford loyalist and even I would have a hard time turning down a big raise and swapping shitty Detroit for San Diego!

Arrow Re: David Woodhouse resigns

The article said he'll be the head of Nissan AND Infiniti design.

Given that piece of info, this move actually isn't all that surprising.(Although the abruptness/timing is).

I'm sure David's hire was more about reviving Infiniti, especially as they head into their next generation of designs. Seeing as he almost single handedly changed the direction of Lincoln with a few key products, the Nissan/Infiniti directors are probably salivating at the thought of what he can do to reignite Infiniti.

David sure did one heck of a job for Lincoln, and he helped define a new direction for the brand all while keeping the brand identity intact (Cadillac are you listening!?) and for that he should be extremely proud!

My favorite Woodhouse design:
