The lower bumper has the same design however, not uncommon to see protruding pipes through the fascia for emissions testing.
The front we pretty much know what it'll look like with a Navigator-esque look.

The rear is interesting though - while we won't see drastic changes, this mule points toward the taillights having at minimum different graphics, which previous mules didn't indicate. Also, the bumper will change, as we saw a previous mule with a bumper more like the concept (with a horizontal character line rather than the one that sweeps up at the ends like the current model). The exhaust pipes aren't surprising - as you said, it's common for testing. I'm guessing they're for the 3.0.

Do we know if the interior is going to change in any bit?

I suspect it and the MKC will follow the lead of the MKZ and recent Navigator updates where the basic design remains but the materials are upgraded.

As SP1966 said, I think the interior changes will be limited to:
-Lincoln turn signal stalks
-Lincoln's new HVAC/radio switchgear (Continental/MKZ center stack)
-upgraded materials on the center stack
-new Black Label themes (perhaps a blue theme?)
-possible digital gauge cluster

Beyond that, I don't think we'll see much change inside.

^ Hopefully HUD will be added as an optoin and it would be nice to have the 'upgraded' airbag cover from the MKZ. The current plastic one is my least favourite part of the MKX interior - just looks cheap. All-digital cluster would be OK too but it needs to be WAY more 'customizable' than the one in the Continental.

More wood trim in the interior would also be nice IMHO.

I'd also like to see Lincoln get away from the brown/gold/orange UI design of their instrument panels and Sync, just terrible.

I kind of doubt we'll see it get HUD, as that would require a dash redesign, but I suppose it's possible.

It would just need a cutout on the top of the dash no?

I imagine there's room back there for the hardware.
