Also, how does it look in Tiger Eye?

Both are colors we don't get on the Focus here.

Has anyone seen Lunar Sky in person (besides this picture)?

Re: Ford Colors: What Do You Like/ Not Like/ What Do You Want to See in the Future?

I wish I could start another poll. Which major car brands offer the most and least diverse color portfolio?

Non Luxury and Luxury separate.

Who do you think is the best at colors? (I don't think it's Ford. In my opinion, color is one of their weak spots.)

Be honest.

Here is my Ranking:

Non-Luxury:

1. Chevrolet
2. Peugeot
3. Dodge
4. Toyota (I LOVE their Toasted Walnut color. I still would never buy a Toyota because of perceived arrogance from the company, and their products/design are not to my taste)
5. CitroŽn
6. Honda
7. Hyundai/Kia
8. Ford
9. Volkswagen
10. Subaru

Luxury:
1. Mercedes-Benz
2. Audi
3. Porsche
4. Lexus
5. BMW
6. Volvo
7. Chrysler
8. Lincoln
9. Genesis
10. Jaguar

However, as far as interior colors go, The US offers light to dark, where as Europe seems to be stuck on black interiors.

As a rule, the Germans have a pretty bland color palette. Audi is particularly conservative. When we purchased our Q5, there were 2 whites, 2 blacks, 2 silvers, and 3 grays (4 if you count moonlight blue, which is really dark gray). There were no real color options. Want a Q7 in the States, here are your choices.

Two blacks, some grays and some whites...Wow.

While I agree that people tend to choose some car colors over others, a wide variety of colors across the spectrum should at least be offered without looking tacky.

Sorry, I was editing my post while you responded. Do you agree with my ranking?

wanted Q7 color-names
CararraWhite - NightBlack - OrcaBlackMet. - GlacierWhiteMet. - SamuraiGrayMet. - CobraBeigeMet.
FlorettSilverMet. - GalaxyBlueMet. - ArgusBrownMet.

then had a quick look at Q5's
BrilliantBlack - IbisWhite - MonsoonGrayMet. - MythosBlackMet. - NavarraBlueMet.
AzoresGreenMet. - UtopiaBlueMet. - ManhattanGrayMet. - FlorettSilverMet. - MatadorRedMet.
MoonlightBlueMet.

I'm still wondering about a unified BASE-Palette then with additional colors (dictated by vehicle TYPE?:
sport=brighter, Cuv=moreNATURE-y?, flagship=more'Reserved')

just before today's posts in this thread started, I was looking a our local Jaguar dealer's website/In-Stock (since they seem to be boycotting our mini-autoshow next weekend again.
I ought go configure Macans in spite -- tho Jag's choices here were drab anyway
BUT
my point I guess is
Nihar, are you going for opinions** or actually want a count of choices? (a LOT of work but quantifiable)

ps for the 'trema' on CitroŽn's 'Ž'

edit** I can give better opinions after next week's autoshow THO
I remember 3ish interiors from the past
- Impala's Mojave interior (previously mentioned - I really liked it, at least at the time)
- Nissan Maxima that had a yellowish Leather = sorta liked but quite impressed, very 'euro'
- Ford Fusion off-white ("Ceramic'?) that I thought ABSURD for a family car ...also drab

Re: Ford Colors: What Do You Like/ Not Like/ What Do You Want to See in the Future?

Either is fine, I guess.

I want sort of in between. Not necessarily the exact number, but what non luxury and luxury brands do you think: "Wow! I have so many color options to choose from!" Not being stuck with grays and blacks? More personal experience, but for brands you don't have as much experience with, look at their color customization for various models.

Chevrolet comes to mind.

GM tends to be the best with options. (Cadillac, not so much though.) I would say, however, that customization was the biggest strength for the now gone Pontiac.

I don't disagree, mostly because I can't. I tend to pay a lot of attention to what's available when considering a particular model for myself. I follow Ford close enough to know that Ford and Lincoln need to mix things up a bit.

Re: Ford Colors: What Do You Like/ Not Like/ What Do You Want to See in the Future?

Part of the problem is that dealers only stock "safe" colors. If you're willing to pay for it, Audi will get you what you want, but you'd better be okay with a 4-month wait.

Jag offers a nice assortment, but you won't find many on dealer lots. How many of these have you seen on the road?
