Cadillac XT6: the name is not confirmed but sources indicate this will be a long-wheelbase, seven-seat SUV related to the XT5. Both four- and six-cylinder engines are expected, as is a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

Ford Explorer: new platform for the 2020 model year, which in this case will see longitudinally-mounted powertrains and much else shared with the Lincoln Aviator.

Ford Shelby Mustang GT500: no official details as yet, other than it will have more than 650 horsepower.

GAC world premiere: details to follow.

Hyundai world premiere: no other details as yet.

Infiniti electric crossover concept: the Nissan division has issued a sketch but not many details of the prototype. A production model is due in 2021, Infiniti has stated previously.

Kia Telluride: project code is VM and production will be at Kia Motors America's West Point plant in Georgia.

Lexus RC F Track Edition: details to follow.

Nissan electric vehicle concept: no details other than this announcement made by head of Design Alfonso Albaisa at the LA auto show.

Ram world premiere: no details as yet.

Toyota Supra: project A90 finally appears in production form. Turbocharged 2.0-litre four- and 3.0-litre six-cylinder BMW engines should be offered.

Volkswagen *Passat: same six-speed Aisan auto gearbox as the 2019MY car but 2.0-litre engine gains torque, all panels are new for the 2020 model year with the exception of the roof.

Re: 2019 Detroit Auto Show

Wouldn't be surprised if Lincoln 'pushes' the Aviator again. The order banks open during the Auto Show.

Current rides:
2017 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid Black Label
2017 Audi Q7 Prestige

Re: 2019 Detroit Auto Show

Also, was expecting to see the Bronco but a new report is saying thats not so. Essentially it says we will see the next gen F150 before we see the Bronco.

Isn't it too soon for a next gen F150? I have a feeling the new F-series that will be unveiled before the upcoming Bronco will be the refreshed Super Duty.

Re: 2019 Detroit Auto Show

SD gets significant engine upgrades for Diesel with eye popping power output numbers. All new gas 7.3L is quite impressive as well and surprisingly fuel efficient.
