Good lord. Musk will have people orbiting the moon before Ford gets the Bronco out, right in time for a big recession.

Yup, they are having a heck of a hard time making this work on top of the Escape/Focus platform - lots of chassis issues and durability of parts are showing up...leadership is a POS!

And reminders:

- interior is exactly the same as the Escape, with minor changes to materials, etc...
- slight modification to chassis to accommodate for different parts

And I warned before, this was not coming out this year...

That looks so good. I think it'll be a winner.

Is there proof and a credible source for this?

In March 2018, when Ford announced that a "Yet-to-be-named off-road small utility" would join the SUV range, it had NO launch date. The two new SUVs announced for 2019 were the all-new Escape and all-new Explorer.

The announcement of a second compact SUV (baby Bronco) was made just one month before the first Escape prototype wearing its final body was caught testing in April 2018.

The first baby Bronco aka "Yet-to-be-named off-road small utility" prototype was spotted in July 2019.

in November 2018 leaked images showing computer generated images of the baby Bronco being presented to dealers only meant the SUV's design was finalized at that point.

If there is durability concerns for small Bronco, that is a good thing.....meaning Ford did not just throw new sheet metal over existing Escape platform, which is what you would expect from the Asian competition. Instead, Ford is developing new or heavily modified underpinnings capable to be adequately rugged for medium off duty use, well above the Escape. Timeline remains unchanged, from what I know. So if the 6 or 8 months post Escape launch increase by several months, so be it. What matters is the product. Reveal has always been 1st qtr 2020 however.

Timelines changed significantly, the Bronco Sport or Adventurer should be on sale in Q1 2020, now they are presenting in Q1 2020 lol

In March 2018, Ford only announced two new Ford SUV launches for 2019, the all-new Escape and all-new Explorer.

Ford NEVER Said the baby Bronco aka "Yet-to-be-named off-road small utility" was going to be launched in 2019 or go on sale Q1 of 2020. They never gave a date.

They'll also be launching a Crossover EV next month.

Rumors from publications are not always accurate, follow what's on the press release.

^

Of course they never mentioned small Bronco for 2019 launch. Someone (not you) is just trying to qualify their nonstop negativity. The earliest I have ever heard it to be was 2nd quarter 2020, several quarters after Escape, that just launched. If there is a delay, it is not by a freaking year.

Ford now said that the Bronco will be released first (1st quarter 2020), follow by Bronco Scout(July-August 2020). Possibly in dealerships November 2020 for Bronco, March 2021 for Bronco Scout. Why to long for me! Going to look at alternatives now!

Ford is pulling all its energy on the Mustang EV crossover release in L.A. Auto Show. EVs are not selling unless it is a Tesla model!
