Re: Blue Rhapsody interior pictures

My primary complaint with all the Conti models - BL included - is the inability to choose which type of wood or metal inlays you desire. Personally, I am not a fan of the BL wheels, either, so that is another customer choice that would be welcome.

I feel like wheels are easy because I am sure a dealer will work with you on that, the inlays are harder but I remember someone over at GMI asked for different wood inlays on their ATS and their dealer did it for them. Makes me wonder if they would be willing at all to do it with a Conti.

Re: Blue Rhapsody interior pictures

I always hated the colored interiors of the 70's, the reds, blues, or even the combination of red with white seats like a friend had in his Monte Carlo. I like exciting colors on the exterior of an exciting vehicle, but inside I'm looking for something more serene. Me personally, I hate that blue interior!!

I can see where you are coming from in some regards but interior color options have gotten so bland and boring lately. It's just black, gray, or beige pretty much. Black I don't mind, gray and beige is very boring. I would like to see white start to make a return I remember a friend's early 90s BMW with white leather that was really nice. 70s colors like you mention don't translate well these days like this mid 90s Town Car with green interior

Dark Blue though I love so I will have to disagree with you there but again it's personal taste. Red I don't mind in performance cars but when you have too much it becomes overwhelming. Maybe just seats with a combo of black like the Mustang did. I really liked the center stage themed interior with the red headliner it was bold and striking. This mid 90s Town Car with red interior is just way too much

A really dark red might be nice. That's what my father had on his 88 Town Car and while everything was that color and a bit much I think it themed with another color like black could be really nice. I also liked the MKX black label with the grayish purple interior, the name is escaping me and it looks like they removed that theme anyway from their website. Purple is a really tough color anyway believe it or not the Taurus had a purple interior option in the 90s and it's gross

Re: Blue Rhapsody interior pictures

@Andrew L It's totally subjective! I'm sure there are plenty of people who're going to love it, and good on Lincoln for making it available! It's funny how you like a black interior which to me is just depressing, I prefer earth tones or gray on the interior and have to admit I like the Thoroughbred BL interior which has a nice contrast between the black and brown! I guess when I consider the interior I want something that is soothing, that doesn't jump out and demand my attention, if I want exhilaration I'll just put my right foot on the floor!!

@SP1966 I don't know there's something about a black on black car that I love or a silver on black car haha. I forgot about Thoroughbred and I agree with you there I love that one as well. The saddle colored leather just oozes class IMO

Re: Blue Rhapsody interior pictures

^ gray MKX was (The)Muse >> I'd like a Nother try at gray (with silvery/pewter? instead of purplish)

my 2 cents: old interior colors * used tones/shades that had limited 'shelf-lives' imho :: easy to look dated or get tired of;
whereas colors that actually occur in Nature (can) tend to have more staying-power

imho the Rhapsody Blue is rich and dark enough to look 'Rich' and not 'cold'
tho my preference would still be to have Some black with it...like the dashtop and continuing a bit onto the doors...
...actually the dash is my sore-point = I get tired of color there a lot easier
= why I prefer TerraCotta to Thoroughbred (just from pix)

* originally typed "(back further than 90's too)" when my eyes weren't fully open
sorry

The way the wood is positioned within the trim would make removing it a pretty daunting task. I would not want any dealer that I know trying it.

I like either cappuccino or beige. The lighter colors are soothing and seem more classy to me. Also causes a more "uplifting" mood for me. What I don't care for is the two-tone on the cars now - I preferred the floorboard and liner to match the seat color. I also had a late1990s TownCar that was silver metallic exterior with "graphite" leather interior which was a nice light grey color. I also had a sea mist Jag S Type with nice white leather, too.
