Re: 2020 Corsair

Ours has arrived. Check out the beautiful Beyond Blue. Phone as Key works great.

Unfortunately it goes back to the dealer Monday. Because even though Florida does not use front license plates, the dealer put holes in the front bumper to install the front plate bracket and his colorful advertising.

If they can't do a perfect repair, it's going to need a new bumper...

Congrats. Great choice with BB.
I wonder though, how do they repair holes in a plastic fascua?

...I hate when they do that ****. Tesla includes the front plate holder in the trunk with preapplied heavy duty 3M tape. If you want/need it, you can apply it, but it still allows you to remove it later with a little elbow grease without damaging the bumper if you move somewhere that doesn’t require them.

Love that blue, btw! Looks great.

Re: 2020 Corsair

Lincoln has a press conference scheduled this Wed Nov 20 @ 3:40 PST...must be the reveal of the Corsair plug in hybrid, right? Maybe called Grand Touring like Aviator, hopefully with more power than the 2.3 T as well.

Re: 2020 Corsair

Looking at the LA Auto Show Press Schedule, goes from 3:40 PM – 4:20 PM PST, that's 40 minutes long, for a vehicle that's already in the market just showing a new plug in power train, looks to me maybe Lincoln might have something up their sleeves, I maybe wrong.

It's going to be the Corsair hybrid or plugin hybrid so probably Corsair Grand Touring. The Lincoln rep at the Tampa Auto Show told me he flew in from Detroit for the show not a major one but they had 2 Aviators on display and a Corsair.

Disappointed in the range. CA just nixed their rebates for anything less than 35miles. That range is just really last gen PHEV instead of next gen. Lincoln should have aimed for a 19.6kWh pack and a bigger rear motor. They RAV4 Prime’s rear motor is about 2x as powerful and it gets 39mi range...for a Toyota.

Obviously, the rest of the Corsair is top notch, just the PHEV seems very uncompetitive.
