I don't know what you're smoking but the front overhang is only slightly larger than that of the 3-series. What screams FWD about a car is when the front wheels are tucked up under the A-pillar, which the A4 is not. I do think the MKZ is a better looking car than the new A4, but only one of them is obviously FWD.
