Re: OrderGuides: F-L 2017my ...starting off with a BANG!

I noticed something with Navigator/Expedition....

2016 Production Start was 7/20/15 while the MY2017 Production Start is 5/25/16, 2 months earlier. Which would indicate that there is a new model coming early for MY2018

So expect to see it by November 2016 and on dealer lots by May 2017.

Navigator concept maybe?
I see a lot of Navigator photos on Lincolnīs FB and they do that when they plan to show a new model.

Also in 2015 they "did" a "1 Concept + 1 Production version strategy"

Re: OrderGuides: F-L 2017my ...starting off with a BANG!

the MKZ OG oughta be out within a week or so (Job1 = 4/4)
EDIT: actually HAS TO be out by then,
SHOULD Have come out already/back in Jan!!

while looking for Vineyard @ Lincoln.com, noticed some changes in the configurator for the non[BL] MKZ:
wheels (afaik ...playing with pix)
& a NEW (to me?) PAINT = DiamondBlack which seems to be Only paint color on the 3.0T-Awd with DriversPkg which seems to Only get a Ebony/TouringWhite interior which might've been what we saw in L.A (ie NOT Vineyard!)

And

It looks like the Diamond Black is a BL color being offered exclusively with the Drivers Package for non BL models. One can select other colors too though.

I like that they are offering the Drivers Package for BL models too, which keep their own unique interior themes and wheels, and it's cheaper. (Option cost $2395 vs $3395)

yeah, I frequently get confused with configurators or e-brochure-pages, s'why
- I love OGs so much
- would like an Omni-directional configurator, where one can start with any criteria-dimension (color! in&out)
tho
again playing @ Lincoln.com,
looks like the DrvsPkg is (ONLY) not available with BurgundyVelvet or JadeGreen

I haven't found official choices for [BL] yet ie colors/limitations
Do you know if in [BL] you can get the DrvsPkg with all interior themes?**
afaik the $1k-off is cuz the multi-contour/motion seats and an upholstery-upgrade are already part of [BL]...and maybe something else I haven't thought of?

** Think I like the idea of the DrvsPkg being semi-limited on the Z ...and just Reserve or [BL]
tho hope it's available with ANY Awd-3.0T on the Conti!
= ie Select, Reserve, & [BL] + All Colors in&out

Re: OrderGuides: F-L 2017my ...starting off with a BANG!

2b2...ive found the build for 2017 MKZ including BL on Car Connection...
http://www.thecarconnection.com/pric...d-premiere-fwd
I think the colors and choices are accurate but not 100% sure! This lets you build any theme and add the drivers package.

So odd Lincoln hasn't put out a 2017 MKZ Black Label site and build yet. Btw I asked a Lincoln rep at the NY auto show about the 2017 MKC and MKX themes and they said/think the MKC will follow the 2017 MKC themes, weren't sure about MKX yet.

Lastly, there is no drivers package for the Continental but it sounds like the torque vectoring AWD will be included on all 3.0 TT models. Unlike the MKZ, maybe there won't be a fwd 3.0 TT offered, and instead the 2.7 TT will be avail in both fwd and awd, but no torque vectoring...? I should have asked at press days, totally forgot! One thing I did ask was about a CD player in the Continental, and after getting a few reps on the case, it was determined there is indeed none! Lol
