You're absolutely right but if I were in the market for a sporty mid-size sedan I would absolutely love to have a Mercury Milan V6 with a 6-Speed Manual but that's just me.

Thanks 2b2. Found this site while doing some research for my dad who is planning to buy a Milan. I am also a Ford/Mercury guy, so will be visiting this site often.

hope that FlexFuel omission is just a typo.
Looks like the manual is only available with the 4-cylinder, and the V6 always comes with an automatic. I guess nobody likes to shift the gears themselves when they get more power. The SelectShift™ is suppose to fulfill any need to shift yourself I guess. (I prefer manual trannies myself.)

My guess (and it's a guess; i have no information on this) is that the batteries will be placed in the back of the trunk, such that if folding seats were available they'd still do no good as they would not increase cargo space.

Re: OrderGuides: F-M-L 2010

updated MILAN and FUSION Order Guides

there's also a 2010 Fusion info article at Media.FORD.com (#29304) which has a NON-working link to a .PDF (think Media.FORD is getting re-organized)

would love a ^^^ larger version...
...the document that came up from the top-menu PDF tab seems the same as the article.
&
Found a 2nd article (#29312)

Re: OrderGuides: F-M-L 2010

Thanks for posting the updated Order Guides 2b2.

The Milan certainly has a good selection of rims/wheels to choose from. The only thing I don't like about the rims/wheels is I think that the rims on the Milan Premier should be polished alloys instead of painted alloys not a big deal though.

Also I don't think the Milan and Fusion should use the same rims like they do on the Base and Hybrid models.

about the base models I agree (might actually prefer the current Milan's 16" alloys)
but the Hybrids I can accept - - thinking that they probably offer some aerodynamic advantage & that would be hard to duplicate with a different style (tho maybe they could offer a polished-&-matte combo finish for the Milan?)
still kinda envy the Fusion-SEL's wheels
&
did you notice the 2 new names for Milan's dash/console trim?
"Changed interior trim description from Satin Aluminum to Delta
Silver or Premier Metallic in Base Standard Equipment page"

for some reason this makes me think a new AppearancePkg is in the works

I agree that the Milan's current 16' alloys would look better. Also I agree with you about the Hybrid rims you make a lot of sense.

I did notice that about the interior trim I bet they'll look great. It would be great if there was an Appearance Pack in the works. One can only hope.

I really wished they had kept the Dark Blue Ink Paint Color available on the Milan. It is such a beautiful color.

^ Thanks for posting LMdealer. This new Mustang should fly off Ford showrooms when it gets there.
